What is a Screen Name?
ThwartPoker uses Screen Names as a unique identifier in our tournaments. Since Screen Names are
personalized, they ensure that players in our community are the only ones who have access to their own
account information.

Practice Tournaments

Progressive Tournaments
Progressive virtual table tournaments are where the player with the highest score against the virtual
opponents during the tournament wins. A game consist of a designated number of hands against the virtual
opponents. All subscribers can participate in the Progressive tournament as many times as they wish but
there are limitations on how often you can win prizes. Please see Terms of Service.
Head-to-Head Tournaments
Head-to-Head tournaments are where your scores against the virtual opponents are matched against other live
players and the live player with the best win/loss percentage during the tournament wins.
Head-toHead tournaments can occur on daily and semi-weekly cycle and end at 10:00pm PDT.
All subscribers can participate in Head-to-Head tournament as many times as they wish but there are limitations on how often you can win prizes. Please see Terms of Service.

Single Table Tournaments (live direct real-time multiplayer)
Play 6 Card Battle and Hold'em Blitz in Single Table Tournaments against other live players.
Games start when the specified number of players join a table. Play continues until either
one player wins all the money or when a specified amount of money is reached by one of the players.
Blinds increase throughout the game. Prize points are awarded to winners. Prize/cash winnings
to be announced for players who accrue the greatest amount of prize points.
Multi-Table Tournaments (live direct real-time multiplayer)
Play in multi-table, real-time tournaments against other live players.
This a multi-table tournament consist a large number of live players rotated through
various tables for a specified # of hands. Players who win the most amount of money will
be awarded Prize Points. Prize/cash winnings to be announced for players who accrue
the greatest amount of prize points.

Practice Games
Practice games are available to those who have registered and have not yet subscribed to ThwartPoker.
You can participate in practice tournaments as often and as much as you like.
